Leeds University Union is a campaigning organisation. We encourage, support and lead campaigns that aim to make a difference to students' lives and communities.
Campaigning is how our members can make a difference. It is great fun, can help you to make new friends and meet people with similar views and interests.
Leeds University Union is lucky to have a diverse and vibrant membership of over 300,000 members. We have huge potential to make positive changes to the student experience to,the University campus, the environment we live in, the city of Leeds, and broader society.
Leeds University Union has a rich history of campaigning and has made real changes on a wide range of issues through regular targetting of the University, Leeds City Council, local community groups and the government. Our members have been actively involved in campaigns relating to sexual health, changing members' environmental behaviour, improving our members' health and wellbeing, helping members understand safe drinking habits and improving accommodation standards.
