LUU's Events Department provides an excellent programme of entertainment throughout the year, bringing you the best line-up of bands, DJs and club nights.
Leeds University Union, home of Leeds' largest live music venue, The Refectory. This is one of the most important venues in the history of UK rock n roll. Since the late 1960s the Refec has played host to acts like The Who, Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones and Elton John to more recent acts such as The Strokes, Basement Jaxx, Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, The Streets and many more. In addition to The Refectory, we have a suite of three club venues in LUU, which can be used separately or in conjunction with one another. These three venues, Stylus, Mine and Pulse are available to hire (subject to availability) - to find out more please see Booking A Venue.
