About The Old Bar
This is the Union's original pub and has been entertaining students and university staff since 1939.
The Old Bar is the perfect environment to enjoy a pint with mates whilst watching live sports on the state-the-art plasma TV screens or enjoying some classic pub entertainment.
A range of ales and spirits are on offer while you watch live sports, listen to live bands, test your knowledge in the weekly quiz, catch up on your favourite Aussie soap, or just chill-out in this relaxing traditional pub.

| Wednesday | LUU’s Official Sports Night Every week The Old Bar hosts a night dedicated to Leeds University’s sports teams, societies and fanatics. |
| Thursday | The Infamous Old Bar Quiz Sponsored by VK, every week win £15 plus a tray of alchopops! Come and join in the fun! From 8.30pm £1 entry for teams of up to four people. |
| Friday | Pre-Fruity Party and Prize Draw The ultimate start to your weekend. We have a free prize draw every Friday and a pre-fruity warm up with fruity drinks offers. |
| Saturday | Daytime - Watch Live Sports Live football during the day with drinks offers and sports papers available at the bar. Evening - New Slang: Live Bands LSRfm.com presents: live bands every Saturday night from 8pm - midnight. Rock, Pop & indie Knocks. |
