Black Students Regional Networks

The NUS Black Students Campaign is holding a series of Regional Networks across the country as an opportunity for African, Arab, Asian and Caribbean students to come together locally to network with other Black Students in localities, find out more about the NUS Black Students Campaign and its priorities, to meet the members of the committee and to get support in your union.

There will be discussion on how to engage Black Students in your union, running effective clubs and societies, challenging the Rise in Racism and what role students can play, what barriers there are in the education system and how the Race Relations Amendment Act can be used to tackle inequality in education, and what students can do to mark the British 200th anniversary of the Abolition of Slavery this year.   This is also your opportunity to feed back on issues on your campus which you would like the campaign to take up.
