Social Guidelines

Our teams clocked up a very impressive 16 wins from twenty-two matches against other universities. LUU Student Activities has applied for Investing in Volunteers status.
At Student Activities, we want to provide all activity groups with the best possible service that we can. For this reason, we have applied to receive Investing In Volunteers status. Click here >>>
We have reviewed the use of minibuses.
Minibuses will not be kept on site for group use. They will all be picked up directly from the hire company in future. In addition to this, booking confirmation sheets will only be giving to the drivers of the vehicles on production of both parts of their driving licence each time a vehicle is hired. Demonstration against Climate Change

Over 50 Leeds students took part in a national campaign to demonstrate against climate change. It was a great day and clearly showed the abilities of LUU students to campaign for something they are passionate about in a mature and peaceful manner.

A to Z of Activities
Over the summer, after revising the way student activities were organised into either Clubs or Societies, the Student Activities Department felt that because some activities are so different from each other that it was more appropriate to categories them into more suitable groups. By doing this, a Development Coordinator has been assigned to each group who will provide relevant support to that type of activity. These Student Activity groups are now consistent across the Union.
To make finding the activity you are looking for easier, we have provided a full A to Z list.
