We provide an independent housing advice service, offering advice and representation in all aspects of housing both in University Accommodation and in the private sector.
International Student Support
Information aimed at international students. We are no longer able to offer immigration advice, but can refer or signpost you to the most appropriate agency for this.

If you are looking for employment, please visit Joblink in the basement of LUU. We can offer information and advice on contracts and pay, national insurance and tax and your employment rights.

Don't repay your student loan quicket than you need to!
The student loan interest rate is set at the rate of inflation (RPI), but it changes annually in September based on the previous March's rate. Currently it's at 4.8% but in March 2008 inflation was at 3.8% so the rate of interest is set to drop.
Student loans are the cheapest credit you can have, and by paying it off sooner than you need you may risk needing to get into more expensive debt in the future.
