Leeds University Union’s Student Advice Centre is currently running a project in conjunction with the NHS Primary Care Trust in which medical students are paid to run Chlamydia testing sessions for other students and young people around Leeds. We are currently recruiting people to organise and run the sessions in the next academic year - 2008/09.
We are seeking a number of C-Swap Coordinators to organise and lead the screening sessions and C-Swap Assistants to carry out the testing at the sessions and publicise the sessions before hand and whilst testing takes place. This is excellent work experience especially for those with an interest in sexual health, public health or wanting experience of working with members of the public in a medical setting.
Full training will be provided.
If you are interested in becoming a C-Swap Coordinator or Assistant download the job description and person specification, and complete the online form below to apply. Students can apply for both positions if they wish.
