The Union's plan has been created based on the thoughts, feelings and opinions of the diverse range of student members studying at Leeds in the academic years 2004/05 and 2005/06.
By 2009 the vibrancy of LUU, the strength of our services and our ability to engage with, motivate and empower all of our members will mean that we are the most effective students' union in the country.
To provide effective representation and a range of member-led services that are of consistently high quality and embrace the needs of our members.
Democracy - LUU is a democracy. We are supportive, representative and empowering.
Quality - LUU provides quality. We are consistent, efficient and offer value.
Fun - LUU is fun! We are friendly and sociable.
Responsibility - LUU is responsible. We are approachable, reliable, ethical and sustainable.
Diversity - LUU encourages diversity. We are inclusive, involved and fair.
In order for LUU to move towards its vision we have agreed five key themes each with a set of goals which are outlined by clicking below:

Recommendations: Based on what student members said, a series of recommendations were made about how LUU could change for the future. Read the final recommendations
Student members were given the option to agree or disagree with the recommendations. 2,575 members voted, 93% of these votes agreed. These recommendations have formed the basis of the Union’s plan.
The plan will run from July 2006 - July 2009 and will be reviewed on a regular basis.
