The Welcome Tent, on the grass area, outside the Union Building, will be open all day from 9.00am throughout the whole Intro period hosting various events, providing help and information, and handing out goodie bags.
Big Screen Sports
Big screen sports on six plasma screens and two big screens. Book the VIP area for you and ten friends.

Give It A Go: Meet and Greet Family Activity Day
Come and share refreshments with other parents and carers. An opportunity to meet the organisers and volunteers, and ask questions. A day of games, face painting and other entertainment. Bring a packed lunch or buy from the Union shops.
The afternoon of activities (2.00pm to 4.30pm), based mostly in the Lounge and the Riley Smith Hall, involves crafts, sports, music and more. Bring a suitable change of clothes or apron for some activities.
Family Party (4.30pm to 7.00pm) will take place in the Riley Smith Hall. Join us for food and traditional British party games including pass the parcel, blind mans buff, sleeping lions, musical chairs and lots more.
Feel free to join us at any point in the day. It would be helpful if you could let the Student Parents Assembly know if you want to come and how old your children are. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Give It A Go: Jiu-Jitsu
