Koopa
Citing influences from Green Day to Guns N’ Roses and Nirvana to The Beatles, Koopa create a vibrant Indie, yet Punk-inspired sound. Ollie Cooper, Joe Murphy, and Stu Cooper formed Koopa in Essex in 2002.
Already boasting thousands of converts to their snappy guitar fuelled tunes and like a young Blink 182 battling with Green Day in the home counties, Koopa’s punk pop formula has worked its spell over fans across the UK and further afield. With a combination of feisty punk pop anthems relaying stories of teenage life, love, rebellion and messing around, Koopa are the best band to come out of Essex in a very long time.
Advance tickets available from www.leedtickets.com and CATS in the Union building.
