You need to register online at www.luuonline.com/joblink. This will then give you 24 hour access to all our jobs. The website is updated daily and we can send any urgent jobs to you on email.
You can also come into our office in LUU from 8.30am to 5.00pm, staff are on hand to help you Monday to Friday 11.00am to 3.00pm.
If we don't have any jobs that suit your needs then it may be worth exploring other help, ask your friends and room mates where they work, ask in local bars, shops, restaurants and hotels - these get such a lot of enquiries from students that they do not need to advertise with Joblink. Lots of students work, you may need to apply for several jobs before being invited for an interview.
Joblink acts as a job centre for employers, both off and on campus, so each job will have its own application method. The instructions of how the employer wants to be contacted will be on the advert on line or on the card in Joblink. Most employers ask you to submit a CV or complete an application form. If you need any help with this just let us know.
Thanks to funding from Graduates Yorkshire we are able to help you source jobs that link to your studies, these may be voluntary or paid and can last from a day to a full academic year. There is a link on our website to course related work.
Most International Students can work 20 hours during term time but please ensure that your visa allows you to work. If you need confirmation of your visa restrictions please visit the International Office on Blenheim Terrace.
There are jobs on campus but they are very limited. All of Joblink's adverts are checked and offer a safe working environment. Often higher pay rates are available to workers willing to catch a bus.
Joblink hires temporary workers to work on campus, all our jobs will be advertised on the website.
