Joblink advertises part time jobs, temporary work, voluntary opportunities and work experience in Leeds and Wakefield/Barnsley that are suitable for students.
How do I use Joblink?
You do not need to be registered with us to apply for our positions, just click on "Current Positions " on the right. If you are on campus you will be able to view all the application details, off campus you will just get a taster advert and will need to either e-mail us for the application details or come on to campus.
Vacancies can be viewed 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday in the Joblink office in the foyer of the Union building.
Do I have to be a student to use Joblink?
Yes, you must be a current student or have graduated from Leeds within the last academic year - this is because we are a service provided by Leeds University Union. Our vacancies specifically target students, they are either part time or temporary or just for vacations.

What if I'm not a student?
Try your local job centre or newspapers. If you are looking for work in the University go to www.leeds.ac.uk and click on 'Jobs' or for work in Leeds University Union see www.luuonline.com/employment.
Do I have to come into a Joblink office or can I apply for jobs online?
All Leeds students can view the job details from our website if you are looking at the site from a PC on campus. Vacancy cards are displayed in our office and staff are available to help.
Where are the Joblink office?
The Joblink office is located in the Information Point, within the Union building. We are open 11.00 to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.(Joblink is not open on Bank Holidays, University Closed Days, Christmas and Easter).
Does it cost me anything?
No. Our service is free of charge for student jobseekers funded by the money made by LUU's commercial outlets.
What else does Joblink do?
Do you have jobs in the Union or the University?
Yes. All LUU's part-time and/or temporary positions are advertised through Joblink. Generally we recuit around April for staff to start in Intro Week. Throughout the year there may be occassional vacancies that arise due to turnover and peak periods. We also recruit teams of temporary staff to work during busy periods and one-off events such as Intro Week, the Summer Ball, gigs and club nighs and also for promotions for events and marketing.
