Each College and University in the NUS is entitled to send 1 free delegate to NUS Women's Conference each year. Women's Conference is a 3 day women-only event where the women of the student movement get together to discuss policy, to debate issues, to hear speakers, to learn in workshops, to network with each other, and to have an awesome time! You don't have to be the Women's Officer, any member can be elected to attend the Women's Conference. However, delegates must be women. Part of each Students' Union's responsibilities each year is to represent your students - so make sure that your students are represented at Women's Conference 2007 and don't let others speak for you!
The conference will take place in Coventry on Tuesday 13th - Thursday 15th March 2007. |
