I stood for election because:

I passionately believe all students should be entitled to an exceptional student experience whilst here at the University of Leeds, so in my role as Education Officer I want to ensure this is the case for all our members.

What does the role of Education Officer involve?

To be responsible for representing students on all educational issues, both nationally and locally. I will also lobby the University on all academic issues to ensure students are satisfied with the quality of education at the University of Leeds.

While in office I intend to:

• Campaign against variable fees.


• Pressure the various schools in the University to improve student access to learning resources and academic staff.


• Improve the communication between the academic representatives and students so you know what your Course Rep, UAR and your Education Officer are working on, and how you can raise an issue if there's a problem on your course.
