About

Essentials and Extras are LUU's convenience stores located on the shops level of the Union building. They sell everything you might need to get you through the week at student-friendly prices.

Essentials sell a wide range of products including sandwiches, snacks, soft drinks, discounted newspapers, stationery and a continually increasing range of Halal and South East Asian products. The shop also caters for the more health-conscious member by continuing to increase and improve the healthy eating products available.

Extras is located opposite, and is a later-opening smaller version of, Essentials but also stock some unique brands of sandwiches, snacks, and confectionary. Extras also sells tobacco and alcohol including a range of fair trade wines. >With its late opening hours, including Sundays, Extras provide a quick, easily accessible, and unique service required to meet all your day-to-day needs.
