What type of activities can I get involved in?

Within Student Activities at Leeds University Union, there are loads of groups and activities you can get involved in whilst at university, from writing for the student newspaper to mountain climbing, playing competitive sports to sampling cheese and wine. We have over 270 activities at Leeds University Union! All the clubs and societies are split into ten groups to ensure we provide the right support for each and every type.

Who are the Development Coordinators?

The Student Activities department is made up of dedicated staff who help run the activities making sure everything that you want to do is available. The assigned Development Coordinator for each activity group, and their contact details, are shown on each activity group page. Use the menu of the right hand side to find out who they are. You can contact them via email, telephone or you can visit them in the ARC, upstairs in the Union building.

Im not sure what activity to join?

If you are unsure what activity you would like to do, the best way to find out is to come along to a Give It A Go taster session. You can meet other like-minded people and members of the club or society and find out about it before you join to ensure it is the right one for you.
