RocSoc is the student society for the department of Earth Sciences at The University of Leeds. The student-run society is the centre for social activities in the department and organises many events throughout the academic year. Members can take part in sporting events, fieldtrips, geological talks, and of course, pub-crawls.
For the up-coming year the new Rocsoc committee have many new ideas and aspirations to usher in a new 'golden age' for the society. We hope to introduce a much more captivating geological talks program and improved fieldtrips whilst still maintaining the amazing socials that Rocsoc is famous for!
