The Maths Society is open to all members of the Maths department, undergraduates, postgraduates and staff alike. It is also open to staff and students of other departments.
Our aim is to bring Maths students together, to help each other and to have fun through socials, sports events and activities. This year, socials will include Otley runs, club nights, curry nights, day trips and……….. the big bash itself, the black tie ball!
We currently have successful football, netball and hockey teams and are always looking to expand into different sports. There are frequent intra-mural games to be played!
So, if you want to enjoy yourselves with fellow maths students, we are your people! It’s the easiest way to meet people from your course!
