Build up your public speaking skills, or just come along to watch. Debating teaches you how to see both sides of an argument, and how to present your own views more effectively - really useful skills that just happen to look great on your CV as well.

In addition to regular meetings in the Union, LUDS also travels to competitions around the UK, welcomes guest speakers, and holds various socials throughout the term.

We meet every Thursday at 7.00pm on the Parkinson Steps and usually use Room 108 upstairs. We have a training session followed by a debate. Check out our website for more information about the society and details about upcoming events.
