The IAF is a non-partisan broad based independent association, established to promote political engagement and the open exchange of ideas on international affairs. By hosting discussions with eminent speakers from different aspects of public life, involving a diverse audience with diverse opinions, on important international issues, we hope to help improve political engagement and debate.
The events aim to be challenging and enjoyable; focused on issues of the moment and discussed by speakers whose views are easily identifiable whether representing or challenging popular culture. We host small discussion groups for those wanting to pursue subjects further in an open-minded, non-partisan environment. Our regular newsletter, the IAF International Review, combines contributions from expert and experienced writers alongside students’ own contributions. The publication is designed to complement a vibrant, eclectic and active political community.
