Cricket (Women's)
We are a friendly, laid-back group who train every week. We play matches and tournaments throughout the year and enjoy regular socials. Whether you know your 'mid-off' from your 'extra cover', or think 'square leg' is a medical condition, come along and join us.
All abilities are most welcome. We thrive on training up people who have never played cricket and get them playing in full games by the summer. At the same time, we are a very successful team with a few very experienced players who help lead the freshers! Last season we reached the final of the BUSA Knock-out competition for the third year in a row, having won it the past two years.
Aims - we want to win the Knock-out competition again to make it three in a row and want to consistently field a full team in the Yorkshire league - we rely on newcomers for this!

Training: Fridays 6.00pm to 8.00pm in Sports Hall 1. We also train at Headingley Cricket Ground. For training times, see our website.
Matches: Outdoor during summer, once or twice a week and a couple indoor in the winter.
Teams: One team in BUSA Premier League and one in a friendly Yorkshire League.
