Leeds University Women's Football Club has been in existence now for 16 years and is looking bigger and sharper than ever. With a record breaking membership tally last year Women's Football is certainly living up to its name as the nation's fastest growing sport.

The Club is made up of two teams, both of which compete against other Universities in the BUSA league. Our firsts finished second in their league and were runners up in the BUSA Championship final, while the seconds finsihed mid table in their league. A combined first and second team competed in the sunday league narrowly missing out on reaching the sunday league cup final!
This year we are looking for the right players (YOU!!) to boost all of our squads after loosing many who have graduated.

Training
Training is twice a week on Tuesdays (8.15pm to 10.15pm) and Thursdays (6.00pm to 8.00pm). I cannot stress enough that absolutely EVERYONE is welcome at these sessions!
Our matches take place on Wednesdays and Sundays and squads are selected from those willing and able that attend training regularly.

The Social Life!
By far and away the best nights you will ever experience at Uni! The social aspect is without a doubt one of the most important parts of belonging to LUUWAFC and attendance is expected...
Wednesday is official sports teams night. Almost every team go out so it's guaranteed carnage! Expect an excess of fancy dress, banter, games, anti-Met songs and the craziest dancing in your life - you won't be disappointed! Special events in the calendar include: Initiation, Varsity (vs. Leeds Met), Xmas Meal, Christie Cup, Sports Ball and AGM.
