Conference

The first Annual Student Activities Conference takes place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October, from 11.00am to 5.00pm each day, all over the Union building.

On this page you will find more information about the upcoming training conference, what sessions you can expect and other important details. Please check regularly for updates.

Sessions will include:

Skills for being a president, secretary or treasurer
Gaining sponsorship and making money
Being a great leader
Involving all students
Running an activity is like running a small business
Your activity as a brand
Using video to advertise your stuff
Innovative thinking and creating new ideas
How your activity could change the world
If your members are your customers, how's your customer service?
Recapping Induction

There will also be key-note speakers from both inside and outside the University, as well as an opportunity to challenge the Activities Officer about what they should be doing and what you would do if you were them.
