Welcome to English Society! Hopefully if you've found your way here you're already thinking about joining, which is great!
EngSoc is a great way to meet and socialise with your peers from your subject, but is definitely not just for English students - everyone is welcome.
We run theatre trips, tutor talks (with tea and cakes!) and trips to places of literary interest, as well as socials and Otley runs.
There is also the creative writing magazine called The Scribe, which publishes students' work and welcomes artwork (such as drawings and photographs) as well as poetry and short stories.
Membership to this amazing society is only £4!
