Starting University can be a daunting experience. The Sociology and Social Policy Society is here to help all new and old members. We have a hard working committee that are already planning nights out and events for the coming year.
The society also provides a help in hand with university work as we have mentors in all years who are eager to listen and offer support. The main interest we have is to help you enjoy being a student in the department of Sociology and Social Policy. If you choose to join us there will be a warm welcome and a fun year ahead.
Our meetings will be scheduled as they are needed. We are looking at every other week. There will be open places for students who are not on the committee to come and have their say about university issues.
