Founded in 2005, TranSoc is still very new and dynamic. As there are a relatively small number of ‘with Transport Planning’ students, the Society is small and aims to get all members fully integrated in the society, and even be on the Committee.
Our primary aim is to provide opportunities for students from each year to interact socially and form a community.
Academic and career related events are also a key priority. Students will be given the opportunity to meet Transport Professionals informally, as well being provided with information about forthcoming modules from past students.
Being a member of TranSoc will really make you feel at home in ITS and the University.
