The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Society (LGBT) is one of the biggest and most active societies within the Union. We provide a safe social space for all LGBT people and their friends and aims to look after the health and welfare of LGBT people via our sexual and mental health campaigns.
From traditional 'Otley Runs' and theatre trips to Coming Out evenings and Sexual Health workshops, the society aims to provide something for everyone. We also have strong links with the unions LGBT Assembly, working for equality via union politics.
We are run by a committee who work with our membership to deliver a society that is inclusive, welcoming and fun and we look forward to meeting all our new members!
