Thai boxing, or Muay Thai, is a traditional art of self-defence of the Thais, developed to become a sport. It is different from international boxing in that in the Thai style of unarmed fighting, forward and backward elbows strikes, knee strikes, swing and reverse kicks and all types of fist blows are used. Thus, it resembles more to a real format of fighting.
A Thai boxing match lasts only five rounds of three minutes each, with a two-minute rest between rounds. We cover a multitude of areas from beginner to the advanced student. Whether you wish to compete, grade or simply get fit and build up your confidence while learning Thai boxing.
You can be happy knowing you are going at your own pace with the full knowledge that contact is totally optional for all those who attend.
