The Leeds University Union Mountaineering Club is open to anyone who has an interest in the mountaineering side of the outdoors: Rock climbing, scrambling, hill walking, we dabble in a bit of everything! Even if you have scaled the Eiger or if you've never even seen a mountain before, you'll fit right in, we're a friendly bunch.
Trips are organised to Northumberland, Wales and the Lakes as well as more local places for days out. Transport and accommodation (and usually food!) are included in the price of club trips (£20-£30 for weekends).
Bring a sense of adventure and meet us down the pub, Wednesdays around 9pm at the Packhorse (opposite Engineering). Alternatively, have a look at www.luumc.co.uk, there are forum pages, regular info updates and details of who to contact if you have any questions.
Hope to see you around,
LUUMC
