Hyde Park 5-8s
Aim: To provide community cohesion in the Hyde Park area by providing the opportunity for its children to partake in organised activities and outings.
Objectives:
- Organise fulfilling and exciting after school activities and outings
- Aim to offer these activities to the widest range of children from different backgrounds in the Hyde Park area
- Support the local community by encouraging interaction between its residents
- Provide fulfilling volunteering opportunities to a diverse range of students
Hyde Park 5-8s is a project that runs once a week at Woodsley Community Centre (unless we are taking the kids on an outing) which is in the Hyde Park area. Hyde Park 5-8s has organised different activities, arts and crafts and games for the kids that attend each week for several years, this year we hope to run several more outings bowling, or to the cinema, as well as involving some of the other groups in the Union Hyde Park’s sessions at the centre.
