The Wendy House 10th Birthday

The Wendy House celebrates a decade of dark parties on Saturday May 17th. The hugely popular Alternative, 80’s and Goth club night will make use of all 3 floors of the multi award winning Leeds University Union for its 10th birthday bash.
On Floor One there will be “playfully dark alternative” floor fillers from the 80’s onwards, which promises to pack the dance floor of the 1000 capacity Stylus venue.
The “Mutate” room moves to the larger Mine floor this month, guaranteeing the best in industrial and hard dance music. There is a guest DJ slot from Ronan Harris, lead singer of VNV Nation, currently the world’s top industrial band.
The Third Floor, Pulse, will be a Metal room. Three top DJs from three different UK club nights will play as a one off, representing the requests for mainstream and extreme Metal that have been received recently.
This event is bound to have a fiendishly friendly party atmosphere at the 1700 capacity venue. The Wendy House is packed every third Saturday of the month by colourful characters spanning all walks of life, from all over the UK and many regulars wear fancy dress. The Wendy House is open to all, with no dress code and is only £5 on the door.
